Rail fences are a beautiful alternative to picket fences providing great pasture containment or adding a decorative flare to your property. The two most common varieties are split rail fencing, for a rustic look, or a post & rail fencing as a basic alternative.
Split rail fencing is available in pressure treated, cedar, and locust and hemlock wood. Post & rail fencing can use either decking boards or 2×6 dimensional lumber for rails. Upgrades include wire backing to contain smaller pets and children and can in finished in 2, 3 or 4 rails.
